Team Members



Branch Manager / Personal Banker

In 1973 Jan began her employment for Brill State Bank and over the many years of employment for the bank, has worked in many areas. Jan has been a bank teller, general and loan secretary, proof operator, and assistant cashier, as well as a postal clerk when the Brill Post Office moved into Brill State Bank. In 2004 the bank name was changed to Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin and Jan was promoted to Branch Manager of the Brill branch, which had moved to Highway V & M in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Jan is the Branch Manager and Personal Banker of the V&M location.



Terrianne Wallace joined the Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin team as a Teller in 2005 at the V&M Branch near Brill. Terrianne is a graduate of Rice Lake High School. After graduation she attended Teacher’s College in Rice Lake for two years then continued her education at Mount Senario College in Ladysmith, WI where she received her Bachelor’s degree. For ten years Terrianne taught Elementary Education in Door County. She returned to the local area in 1976 and taught Elementary Education for the Rice Lake School district at the Brill and Haugen locations. She received her Master’s in Education from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire during her teaching career.

Terrianne is involved in the community of Brill participating and organizing many of their activities throughout the year. She also helps with the Birchwood Food Pantry.



BSA Officer

Melanie began her banking career in 1979, working as a bank teller in Bruce, Wisconsin. Melanie worked until 2000 performing teller and bookkeeping duties. In 2000, Melanie began working for Mount Senario College, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Academic Affairs, later advancing into the role of Assistant to the President. In 2003, with the opening of the Ladysmith branch of Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin, she resumed her career in banking, performing teller and bookkeeping functions. Today Melanie is the BSA Officer at the Ladysmith branch of CBNWI.


Assistant Head Teller

Wendy is the Assistant Head Teller for the Ladysmith Branch of Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin. She joined CBNWI in 2007 when she was hired as a teller.


Senior Vice President

Ernie has more than three decades of experience in the banking industry. He has a degree in finance and accounting. Ernie is also a licensed real estate and insurance agent. In the mid-70’s he began his career as an insurance agent. Since then he has worked with several banks and insurance agencies.

Ernie is currently Senior Vice President of Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin (CBNWI) and a member of the Board of Directors. He works out of the Ladysmith office, as he has since its opening in 2003.

Rice Lake


Personal Banker, Rice Lake

Sandie is a Personal Banker at the Rice Lake office of CBNWI. Sandie earned her Associates Degree in Finance. In 1997, Sandie was hired as a teller at Brill State Bank (CBNWI). She worked at Brill State Bank for six years as a teller, proof operator, assistant cashier and loan secretary.

Sandie’s family relocated in 2002. There, she was a Personal Banker for three years when she and her family decided to return to the area. Upon returning, she worked for four years in customer service. Sandie accepted employment with Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin as a Loan Assistant in August 2010 and a year later was promoted to Personal Banker.


VP/ Controller

Donna was still in high school and living on the family farm when she began working at Brill State Bank (CBNWI) in 1978. She worked part time as a secretary, filing checks and preparing statements, then came on full time when she graduated.

Donna held the Head Bookkeeper position for 15 years and in 1995 became the Cashier of the bank. In 2013, she was promoted to VP and transitioned into the role of Controller, which she retains today.


VPO / Cashier

Amy is the Vice President of Operations and Cashier at CBNWI. She has an Associate’s Degree in Finance. She began her banking career in November 1994 as a teller at the newly opened Rice Lake branch of Brill State Bank. Early in 1995, she transferred to the Brill office where she was the Assistant Cashier and primary bookkeeper. Amy began working in the loan department, in addition to her bookkeeping responsibilities. This led to her 9 year position as loan secretary.

In 2005, Amy was given the added responsibility of internal auditor where she performed various compliance related audits for our loan and deposit departments for all of our offices. She was promoted to Vice President/Controller of the bank in 2010. Amy then transitioned into the role of VPO / Cashier in 2013, the position she holds today.



Branch Manager / Vice President of Agricultural Lending

With 27 years experience in the banking industry, Gerry is a great asset to Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin. He joined the CBNWI team in May of 2010 and is currently the Branch Manager for the Ridgeland location and the Vice President of Agricultural Lending. Gerry began his banking career in 1974 as a loan officer, after having earned a college degree in 1972. Over the years he has gained extensive knowledge in agricultural, real estate and consumer lending.

Karla has been in the banking industry for about 10 years. Currently, she is the Assistant Vice President of Ag Lending and is a Personal Banker working mainly out of the Ridgeland Branch. Karla joined CBNWI in 2010 where she has been a teller, loan processor and credit analyst. She has a degree in General Business Management with an emphasis in information technology. Karla has also attended Consumer Lending school.


Assistant Head Teller

Linda started working at Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin-Ridgeland in April of 2012. While she is new to CBNWI, she has been in the industry for over eight years. With over twenty years of customer service experience, she is a great fit for CBNWI. Linda is the Assistant Head Teller in the Ridgeland Branch.

A graduate of Boyceville High School, Linda continued her education at WITC, enrolling in computer related courses. She also has attended several training seminars related to her career.

Linda and her husband, Stan, live in Connorsville where they own and operate a farm. They have two children, a daughter-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren. Aside from spending time with her family, Linda can be found tending her flower gardens, fishing or reading a good book.



Vice President, Senior Lender

Josh joined Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin in July, 2008 after gaining several years of experience in the banking industry. Josh has a Bachelor Degree of Science in Business Administration. He began working with CBNWI shortly after the original loan production office opened in the Spooner branch and has great knowledge in small business and construction lending, as well as portfolio management and business development. Josh is the Vice President, Senior Lender.


AVP / Personal Banker

Missy attended Mankato State University. In the spring on 1993, Missy started her career in the banking industry. She was a teller, loan processor and lender/personal banker. In April 2008, she accepted a position with Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin in the Spooner office as a loan processor. Missy now holds the titles of Head Personal Banker and Assistant Vice President.


Head Teller

Bonnie is the Head Teller for Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin and oversees the tellers for all five branches. Bonnie has been in the banking industry for 19 years in many different roles.

Dwight is the President, CFO and a Board Member of Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin (CBNWI). He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Dwight has been in the banking industry since 1983 and has carried many torches through the years including Internal Auditor, Controller, Senior Lender and Executive Vice President. He joined the CBNWI team in 2008 as the Senior Lender and in January 2011 became the President.
