Traditional IRA’s
- Traditional IRA's offer independence and can be opened and funded
without any employer participation. Under this arrangement,
contributions may be tax-deductible, but distributions are generally
taxable.
Roth IRA’s
- With Roth IRA's, contributions are not tax deductible, but distributions
generally can be withdrawn tax free.
Both types of IRA benefits are attractive, and choosing one or both
can be difficult. We recommend you review your options with a
competent tax advisor before deciding whether to contribute to a
Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, or both.
